Welcome to Ormiston Beachcroft Academy

I am extremely proud to welcome you to Ormiston Beachcroft Academy. We are an alternative provision based in Westminster, and we are committed to motivating, supporting and inspiring pupils to re-engage with their education. We aim to provide every pupil with a high standard of education, which sets them up for successful futures. Our dedicated team of specialist staff aim to provide a broad and balanced education that goes beyond the academic, and aims to develop the whole person – responsible, reflective young people that are able to fulfil their potential.

Beachcroft is buzzing with positive attitudes and behaviour, and is a place where staff inspire and support all learners to be the best that they can be. We are a small academy, which allows to us really get to know our pupils and their families, building strong, positive working relationships. At Beachcroft, we are like a family, and we encourage our pupils, families and wider community to be actively involved in academy life. We are proud of our small community and proud of how we work together as a family. We have an excellent record of ensuring that all our young people reach a positive destination, whether that be college, apprenticeships or employment.

Our ethos is based around the Ormiston Academies Trust’s vision of “Achieving More Together.” Every person in our academy should feel valued, and our key expectations are to be safe, be respectful and be ready to learn. We take great pride in our academy, from how inclusive and welcoming we are, through to uniform and conduct, and we encourage our pupils to take ownership of this, and consider what positive change looks like for them. Every pupil has their own journey that they are on, and we will give each of them our very best in supporting them along that journey.
