Praise for students following GCSE results day

Ormiston Beachcroft Academy is recognising the achievements, progress and resilience of its Year 11 students on GCSE results day. 

Our school is celebrating the achievements of its students, who have shown resilience and ambition throughout their studies and are now preparing to take their next steps in education, training or employment. 

This year’s cohort achieved particularly highly in GCSE history and history, and BTEC home cooking skills. There were several successes, including 16 grade 4+ or equivalent qualifications, including grade 5s in English language, mathematics and fine art, and a grade 6 in history.

The whole school community has come together today to mark the students’ achievements, hard work and dedication, as they look ahead to the next stage of their education. 

While all students have achieved well, some individual achievements include: 

• Isaac, who achieved seven qualifications, including grade 4s in history, science, English literature and English language
• Tabarak, who achieved seven qualifications, including a grade 6 in history, and grade 5s in English language, maths and fine art.

Ormiston Beachcroft Academy is an alternative provision supporting and inspiring students to re-engage with their education. As part of Ormiston, the school is dedicated to providing the highest quality education and ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, gains the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
